In hindsight, the annual skills competition couldn’t
have come at a better time for the Edmonton Oilers.
Still reeling from a dreadful performance the night
before, the annual event gave the club a chance to
have fun again and connect with a fan base that still
adored them and didn’t think they were a bunch of
losers.
