When HBO suddenly cancelled Bored to Death — the literary sleuth show starring Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis — along with Hung and How to Make It in America in late December to make room for new programming, it not only lost one of the most quirky, stylized and zany shows on TV, but also three of the biggest names attached to its network.
